Add option not to output a matrix, just check its validity
An option --check that would only check the input matrix without drawing its template.
An invocation with a correct matrix should exit with code 0, an incorrect matrix would exit with another code.
To upload designs, you'll need to enable LFS and have admin enable hashed storage. More information
